Description Man’s rectangular sterling silver belt buckle with rounded ends, made in overlay technique; Cutout design on top silver layer includes pair of antelope with a sun face overhead and a rain cloud to the right; Along bottom of buckle is row of geometric symbols, including wave, terraced kiva steps (or cloud), pair of rectilinear spirals, and feather banner; Oxidized background of design is texturized with rows of very short stamped lines; Artist’s hallmark (inverted triangle which represents Sun’s mouth) is stamped on reverse of buckle, along with the word “Sterling.”
